These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Canadian AI Cyber™ website and its publicly available materials. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and in a manner that does not interfere with its security, availability, integrity or the rights of others.
Informational purpose
Research, frameworks, commentary, diagrams and technical material are provided for general informational purposes. They do not constitute legal, regulatory, audit, certification, procurement, investment, incident-response or system-specific cybersecurity advice, and they should not replace an assessment of the actual environment and applicable requirements.
No government affiliation
Canadian AI Cyber™ is an independent commercial initiative. References to Canada, sovereign systems, government, defence, critical infrastructure, standards, public-sector environments or government guidance do not imply endorsement, certification, procurement status, sponsorship or affiliation with the Government of Canada or any other public authority.
Permitted use
You may access and use the public website for legitimate informational and business purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with applicable law and does not misrepresent the source, status or meaning of published material.
Security and prohibited activity
You may not attempt unauthorized access; bypass authentication or access controls; conduct credential attacks; introduce malware; disrupt availability; exploit vulnerabilities; exfiltrate information; alter data belonging to others; perform destructive testing; or use automated activity in a manner that materially degrades the service. Nothing on this site grants authorization to test systems or third-party services.
Responsible disclosure
Good-faith reports about a potential vulnerability affecting a public Canadian AI Cyber™ service may be sent to [email protected]. Include the affected URL or service, a concise description of the issue, observed impact and non-sensitive reproduction information. Do not include passwords, private keys, personal information, classified or controlled information, or data belonging to another person. Denial-of-service testing, social engineering, phishing, physical attacks, persistence, credential stuffing, large-scale scanning, data exfiltration and testing of third-party systems are out of scope unless expressly authorized in writing.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, original site branding, text, frameworks, visual design and other original materials are owned by or licensed to the applicable Canadian AI entities. Third-party names, marks, media and source material remain the property of their respective owners and may be subject to separate terms or licences.
Third-party services and links
The site may link to third-party websites, standards, research, media or services. Those resources are provided for convenience or attribution. We do not control third-party availability, security, content or policies and do not assume responsibility for them.
Accessibility
We aim to provide a website that is usable across modern devices and assistive technologies. The theme includes semantic landmarks, keyboard-accessible navigation, visible focus treatment, responsive layouts and reduced-motion support. Accessibility feedback may be sent to [email protected].
Availability and changes
Features, pages, research and technical content may be modified, replaced or removed without notice. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to maintain security, integrity or availability.
Disclaimer
The website is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no representation or warranty is made that the site or its informational content will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, current or suitable for a particular security, compliance or business decision.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Canadian AI Cyber™ and the applicable Canadian AI entities will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising solely from reliance on public website content or inability to access the website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
